Drivin'

Today was a DRIVIN' DAY. We traveled from Spring Valley, OH to our home in Palmyra, NY in just under 10 hours! The amazing part of that feat is that one of us is pregnant, and three others are 7 years of age or younger! All in all, it was a good travel day, especially considering a few of us are sick, including our 22-month-old daughter, who was a trooper, despite a fairly miserable trip for her! Poor Kirstie! :-(

We did get to stop for lunch at one of our favorite Skyline Chili restaurants! It's just off of Polaris Parkway, off 71-N just north of Columbus, OH. We highly recommend them! Great prices (better than most other Skylines), great service, and just a fun Skyline!

It's great to be home. I am using my nice high-speed wireless network to download, and to transfer files back to the home computers! I have missed high-speed in the land of dial-up! My parents house is in the middle of nowhere and would cost mucho dinero to get a line run up to their house. So... they endure the trials of dial.

All of us will sleep very well in our own beds tonight. Kids are already asleep. Poor sick Kirstie was very happy to hit the hay in her own little bed! She was so cute! We love visiting with family, as I have mentioned, but there's just nothing like being HOME! :-)

More later...

G'Night! :-)
